About Course
Stay Safe Online helps you recognise risky requests and build safer habits around your everyday accounts. You will work through unique passwords, password managers, two-factor authentication, suspicious messages and payment checks. The emphasis is on actions you can understand and repeat, rather than technical jargon or frightening claims about every message being dangerous.
Each written lesson includes a concrete example, a short practice task and questions with answers. Exercises use fictional messages and planning notes, so you do not need to make a payment, share a secret or deliberately open a suspicious link. You will also learn what to do if you have already disclosed information or allowed access, including when to contact your bank or workplace support team urgently.
The course is intended for beginners using email, online banking and common business services. It does not promise that a quick check can prove a message safe, and no security tool removes every risk. The estimated 45 minutes is reading and practice time, not video duration. Leave with a prioritised account-security plan, an independent verification habit and a small set of genuine recovery contacts.
