Domain questions
Do I need SSL?
Yes. Browsers warn visitors about websites without HTTPS. SSL is included free with Redvent hosting.
Who owns the domain?
You do. Domains are registered in your name with your contact details, and you can move them at any time.
Can I register a domain without hosting?
Yes. Domains are sold on their own with free DNS management.
What happens if I forget to renew?
Auto-renew is on by default. We also email reminders at 30, 14 and 7 days. Expired domains may incur registry redemption fees.
Can I have more than one domain?
Yes. Many businesses register .co.za and .com and point both to the same website.
How long does registration take?
.co.za and most extensions are active within minutes of payment.
