Hosting Terms and Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated 1 September 2026 · Applies to Redvent and its customers in South Africa.

These terms apply to shared hosting, WordPress hosting, business email, domains and related services. They protect the reliability of the platform for every customer.

1.Acceptable use

Services may not be used to send unsolicited bulk email, host malware, phishing content, or unlawful material, or to interfere with other customers or networks. We may suspend accounts that put the platform at risk.

2.Resources

Plans include the storage, mailboxes and websites stated on the plan page. Sustained excessive resource use may require an upgrade; we will contact you before making changes where possible.

3.Backups

We maintain backups as described on each plan. You remain responsible for keeping your own copies of important website files, databases and email.

4.Uptime and support

We aim for high availability and maintain the platform during announced windows. Support is provided through the client area and by phone during business hours.

5.Domains

Domains are registered in your name. Renewal reminders are sent before expiry; expired domains may be lost or incur redemption fees set by the registry.

6.Suspension and termination

Services may be suspended for non-payment or breach of this policy. Data may be deleted 30 days after termination.
