These terms govern the use of the Redvent website and the purchase of products and services from Redvent. By placing an order or using our services you agree to these terms. Please read them together with the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Hosting Terms.
1.Who we are
Redvent is an independent service provider based in Durban, South Africa, offering business services, website design, hosting, email, computers and accessories, repairs, IT support, design and digital marketing.
Redvent is not a government department or regulatory authority. Where we assist with registrations or statutory processes, the outcome and timing rest with the relevant authority.
2.Quotations and orders
Quotations are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise. An order is accepted when we confirm it in writing or issue an invoice.
Prices are shown in South African Rand and state whether they are once-off or monthly. Setup fees, activation fees and agreement terms are stated on each package page and quotation.
3.Payment
Payment is due as stated on the invoice. Once-off services generally require a deposit before work starts and the balance before delivery of final files or go-live.
Monthly services are billed in advance through the client area and may be suspended if an invoice remains unpaid after the due date.
4.Subscriptions and agreements
Website subscriptions require a 24-month agreement and an activation fee from R499. Early cancellation may require settlement of the remaining term as stated on your agreement.
Hosting, email, domains and maintenance are month to month unless stated otherwise and may be cancelled with 30 days written notice.
5.Your responsibilities
You must provide accurate content, logos and information, and confirm that you have the right to use any material you supply. You are responsible for keeping login details confidential.
6.Delivery and timelines
Timelines are estimates and depend on receiving your content and approvals. Shop orders are delivered by courier or collected by appointment as described in the Refund and Returns Policy.
7.Intellectual property
On full payment, you receive the rights to final design deliverables created for you. Redvent may display completed work in its portfolio unless you request otherwise in writing.
8.Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Redvent is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the service concerned in the preceding three months.
9.Changes and law
We may update these terms; the current version is published on this page. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
