About Course

Unique passwords and a reliable recovery plan make online accounts easier to manage without depending on memory alone. This course introduces password managers, deliberate password migration and additional authentication in a practical order. You will learn what to check before trusting a vault, why changing one account at a time is safer, and how to prepare for a missing phone or unavailable sign-in method.

All course exercises use fictional account labels and blank secret fields. Never submit a real password, setup QR code, recovery code or private account identifier. Published examples are not secure passwords. Any actual configuration belongs in the genuine services settings on your own trusted device, following official guidance and workplace policies where applicable.

The written lessons focus on decisions you can explain: which accounts matter most, how to verify a successful change, where recovery depends on another account and why an unexpected approval prompt should be denied. Complete the practice checklists and compare your reasoning with the answers. You will finish with a private setup and recovery plan, not a collection of shared credentials.

Estimated reading and practice time: 18 minutes. This is a written course with no video requirement.
